Unisys Corporation (UIS) provides information technology services and solutions that offer clients with expertise in systems integration (SI), outsourcing, infrastructure, server technology, and consulting. The company has two operating segments Services and Technology. SI, outsourcing, infrastructure services, and core maintenance constitute the Services segment, while enterprise class servers and specialized technologies are included in the Technology segment. The primary market that Unisys serves worldwide includes financial services, communications, transportation, commercial, and public sector, including the U.S. federal government. Though hardware sales and maintenance have made the largest contribution to revenue in the past, Unisys has been transforming itself into a services company so that the Services segment can generate above 88% of the company's revenue. Geographically, U.S accounted for 43% of the total revenues in Q3:FY08 while International markets contributed 57% of the total revenues.
