The company's business may be classified into six business segments: Missile Systems (MS) (accounting for 23% of Q1'08 revenue), Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) (21%), Network Centric Systems (NCS) (18%), Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) (17%), Intelligence and Information Systems (IIS) (12%), and Technical Services (TS) (9%). Sales to the U.S. Government, principally to the Department of Defense (DoD), represented 81.9% of the total sales in the 1st quarter of 2008. In 2007, the company completed the sales of Raytheon Aircraft Company and Flight Options LLC. In October 2007, the company acquired Oakley Networks, Inc., a privately-held technology company based in Salt Lake City, Utah, which provides cyber security and data leakage prevention systems. In April 2008, the company acquired Melbourne, Florida-based SI Government Solutions, which provides proprietary software security solutions to the U.S. intelligence community.
