EDS's global management consulting subsidiary, A.T. Kearney, was sold off in a transaction to the firm's management that closed on January 23, 2006. EDS generated outsourcing revenue that accounted for approximately 95.9% of its 2007 revenue, with 49.0% from the Americas, 30.3% from EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), 8.5% from Asia-Pacific, 12.1% from the U.S. Government, and the remaining 0.1% of revenue from other areas.
